These Terms and Conditions are 'Additional Terms' (as defined in the MyPost Account Terms of Use) that apply to Australia Post’s Send and Save program (Send and Save). They are supplementary to the MyPost Account Terms of Use and the Australia Post Terms and Conditions.
By participating in Send and Save, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out in:
(a) these Terms and Conditions;
(b) the MyPost Account Terms of Use;
(c) the Online Sending Terms and Conditions; and
(d) the Australia Post Terms and Conditions.
Unless otherwise stated in these Terms and Conditions, if there's any inconsistency between any of the above documents, the earlier mentioned document will take precedence to the extent of that inconsistency.
Except where a word or phrase is defined in clause 7 below, all words or phrases have the same meaning as set out in the MyPost Account Terms of Use, the Online Sending Terms and Conditions and the Australia Post Terms and Conditions.
1.1. By opening and maintaining a MyPost Business Account and subject to your acceptance of these terms and conditions, you will be automatically registered for Send and Save (defined below).
1.2. Your eligibility for Send and Save will start once you have opened your MyPost Business Account and after you have been sent an e-mail confirming your membership and provided you with your unique Membership QR Code.
1.3. Once you have been registered for Send and Save under clause 1.2 above, and subject to any special or introductory offers by us, your Savings Band will be Send and Save Band 0. Thereafter, your purchases of MyPost Business Products identified in column two of the table in clause 2.2 will determine your Savings Band, which determines your eligibility for MPB Savings on the MyPost Business Products identified in column three of the table in clause 2.2 below.
2.1. Savings Bands
Your Savings Band will be determined by the amount you spend over rolling four week and twelve month periods on the MyPost Business Products identified in column two of the table in clause 2.2 below. Your Savings Band will be determined under the provisions of clause 4 below and allocated in accordance with the following table:

2.2. MyPost Business Products
The MyPost Business Products (MPB Products) available for you to purchase using your MyPost Business Account are set out in the following table. The MPB Products which count towards your Savings Band are identified in column two, and your MPB Savings apply to the MPB Products identified in column three.

2.3. Miscellaneous MPB Products
In addition to the MPB Products set out in the above table in clause 2.2, the following MPB Products will count towards your Savings Band, however no MPB Savings will apply: Local Country Parcels (B36), Medical/Educational Remote Area Large Parcels (B61), Medical/Educational Remote Area Local Parcels (B66), and Infectious Biological Substances (O92).
2.4. Changes to MyPost Business Products
We reserve the right at any time to add new products and services and/or delete products and services from the MyPost Business Products, and to change the eligibility of any MyPost Business Products for either or both: inclusion in the list of MPB Products contributing to your Savings Band (ie column two Products) and inclusion in the list of MPB Products on which Savings Band savings can be applied (ie column three Products). If any changes to MyPost Business Products are made under this clause, notification will be provided either by e-mail and/or via auspost.com.au and/or the MyPost Business Online Sending Portal under the provisions of clause 6.1.
2.5. Exclusions
The following Australia Post products and services are not available for purchase on your MyPost Business Account and don’t count towards your Savings Band nor can MPB Savings be applied:
a) Letters services, including but not limited to stamps, presort, print post, promotional post, charity mail, reply paid, acquisition mail, impact mail, registered post, unaddressed mail, prepaid envelopes and tracked letters (other than the products listed in clause 2.2);
b) Retail merchandise, other than MyPost Business Products, purchased from Australia Post retail outlets (including from Participating Post Offices);
c) Domestic Parcel Post and Express Post Pre-Paid Satchels when purchased at the auspost.com.au online shop;
d) any bulk mail lodgments - through manual mailing statements or electronic lodgment via the ELMS system;
e) products and services supplied to Australia Post’s contracted customers, including eParcel customers; and
f) parcel postage purchased through marketplaces including but not limited to eBay (other than where eBay orders are exported to your MyPost Business Account), Farmhouse Direct, Amazon and Good Spender.

Where the domestic zones referred to in the table above are those provided in the MPB Rates and Savings Guide, with the terms Capital City, Major Areas and Rural locations being as described therein:
- Zone 1: parcels sent cross-town within the same Capital City, or within the same Major Area or from a Major Area to the same state Capital City;
- Zone 2: parcels sent from a Capital City / Major Area / Rural zone to any other Capital City or Major Area;
- Zone 3: parcels sent from a Capital City / Major Area / Rural zone to any Rural zone

3.2. The Parcel Returns Service will be charged at usual retail or standard postage price of your Parcel to which your MPB Savings will be applied in accordance with the table in clause 3.1 above calculated on the date on which the Postage Label is created.
3.3. Your Savings Band savings (or fixed price, where applicable below) on international MPB Products are as follows:

3.4. The MPB Savings which will be applied to eligible MPB Products will be determined by your Savings Band applicable at the time of purchase.
3.5. In the event of any discrepancy or conflict between the details provided in clause 2 or this clause 3 and the MPB Rates and Savings Guide, the details in the MPB Rates and Savings Guide will prevail.
4.1. For your purchases of MPB Products to count towards your Savings Band, you must validate your unique Membership QR Code when purchasing MPB Products at Participating Post Offices, or in such other manner as we may request from time to time. When purchasing MPB Products when logged into your MyPost Business Account using the MPB Online Sending Portal, your purchases of MPB Products will be measured automatically. When purchasing MPB products when logged into a Platform Integration Partner or other approved integration method including integration with the eBay marketplace platform, your purchases of MPB Products will be measured automatically.
4.2. Subject to system capacity or load constraints, internet connectivity and other unforeseen circumstances, your spend on MPB Products each day will generally be tallied by us and allocated to your MPB Account by 8:00am the following day.
4.3. Entitlement to your initial Savings Band starts during an initial verification period of four weeks, during which your spend on MPB Products will be measured. If you reach a particular Savings Band before your initial four week period has concluded, you will be elevated to the applicable Band at that time.
4.4. Your purchases of MPB Products will be monitored and tallied daily by us on rolling four week and twelve month periods, and where differing Savings Bands may apply, the higher applicable Savings Band will be assigned to you, subject to future adjustment as set out in this clause 4.
4.5. If your Savings Band changes as a result of your spend on MPB Products in accordance with this clause, you will be notified by e-mail and advised of your new Savings Band.
4.6. Increase in Savings Band: if your spend on MPB Products increases over a four week rolling basis to qualify you for a new Savings Band you will be elevated to the new applicable Savings Band the following day. You will also be elevated to a new Savings Band, if your spend on MPB Products over a twelve month rolling period qualifies you for a new Savings Band, notwithstanding that your purchases of MPB Products over a rolling four week period may suggest a lower Savings Band; ie the higher applicable Savings Band will be assigned to you.
4.7. Decrease in Savings Band: if your spend on MBP Products decreases over a four week rolling basis to place you in a lower Savings Band, or if your spend on MPB Products has decreased over the preceding twelve month period to place you in a lower Savings Band, then you will be downgraded to the lower Savings Band at the time of assessment, providing however that the higher applicable Savings Band will be assigned to you. However, where you have recently been elevated to a higher Savings Band, you will not be downgraded to a lower Savings Band until four weeks after the time on which your spend on MPB Products has deceased to the lower Savings Band level.
4.8. We reserve the right to not reduce your Savings Band for a period of time as we see fit and at our sole discretion, notwithstanding the operation of clause 4.7.
4.9. Where you are assigned to a new Savings Band under this clause 4, MPB Savings will be applied to your purchases of MPB Products at the rate applicable to your new Savings Band with immediate effect.
5.1. Eligibility for the Send and Save Program, your Savings Band and MPB Savings is not transferrable and is not for use in conjunction with any other offer. You may only take advantage of this offer to obtain MPB Savings for your own business. MPB Savings are only available for Parcels that are created and lodged in the Australia Post network by you, and you are not entitled to claim MPB Savings on any Parcel which has been provided to you by any third party. Nonetheless, multiple users purchasing MPB Products on behalf of a single Business using a single MyPost Business account is permitted.
5.2. We reserve the right to amend or cancel the Send and Save program or MPB Savings and/or the Spend Requirements applicable to each Savings Band and/or the number of Savings Bands at any time. If we do this, we will give you 14 days' notice of any such change by e-mail and via auspost.com.au and/or the MyPost Business Online Sending Portal.
5.3. We reserve the right to claim back from you, including by addition of any sums due to your MPB Account, any MPB Savings which you may have claimed to which you are not entitled, including without limitation, where you have combined your spend on your MPB Account with the spend of other businesses not directly owned or managed by you, or where you have permitted other users to use your MPB Account for spend not related to or associated with the business for which you hold your MPB Account.
5.4. We may at our discretion refuse to provide any MPB Savings Pricing to you if you fail to comply with these Terms and Conditions, the MyPost Account Terms of Use or the Australia Post Terms and Conditions.
6.1. (Variations) We may vary these Terms and Conditions at any time, including but not limited to changes made under clauses 2.4 and 5.2 by giving appropriate notice of proposed changes by e-mail and/or via auspost.com.au and/or the MyPost Business Online Sending Portal.
6.2. (Privacy Notice) We collect your personal information so you can apply, and we can process and administer Send and Save. Your personal information will be handled by us in accordance with Australia Post’s Privacy Policy. Without your personal information, we may not be able to offer you Send and Save. Subject to some exceptions allowed by law, you may request access to your personal information while we store it. We will assess your request in accordance with the law and if access is denied, we will tell you why. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Privacy Officer, Australia Post GPO Box 1777, MELBOURNE, Victoria, 3001.
6.3. (E-mails) You acknowledge and agree that you will be sent e-mails and other communication containing information about our products, services or additional special offers. If customers do not wish to receive further information about our products, services or special offers, they may unsubscribe using the link in the email or by sending a request to the Privacy Officer, Australia Post, GPO Box 1777, MELBOURNE, VIC, 3001.
6.4. (Warranty) If a MyPost Business customer is a company, the person applying for the MyPost Business program on behalf of the customer warrants that they are authorised to agree on behalf of the customer to the Terms and Conditions of this offer.
7.1. Extra Cover and Domestic and International Extra Cover means the optional additional feature described on the Domestic Extra Cover and International Extra Cover pages respectively on the Australia Post website, both of which are governed by the Extra Cover Terms and Conditions.
7.2. Membership QR Code means the matrix barcode known as a QR Code issued to you under clause 1.2.
7.3. MyPost Business Account means the account set up by you to purchase MyPost Business Products (either online or at a Participating Post Office), use the MyPost Business Online Sending Portal and to participate in Send and Save, as governed by the MyPost Account - Terms of Use.
7.4. MyPost Business Online Sending Portal and MPB Online Sending Portal means the web-based, online portal operated by Australia Post designed for use by small business customers for the sending of parcels, and under which customers can purchase MyPost Business Products and which can be accessed here: Send with MyPost Business.
7.5. MyPost Business Products and MPB Products means the products and services available for you to purchase using your MyPost Business Account as listed in the table in clause 2.2 and in the MPB Rates and Savings Guide (PDF 698kB), as may be revised and updated from time to time under clause 2.3.
7.6. MPB Rates and Savings Guide means the MyPost Business Rates and Savings Guide (PDF 698kB).
7.7 MPB Savings means the savings applied, or the fixed pricing (as the case may be) applicable to your purchases of eligible MyPost Business Products according to your Savings Band entitlement under the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
7.8. Parcel Pickup Service means the service available in major metropolitan areas of Australia as identified on the MyPost Business Online Sending Portal, under which your parcels may be picked up by Australia Post and lodged into the Australia Post network for delivery, and which is subject to the Parcel pickup terms and conditions.
7.9. Parcel Returns Service means the service offered by Australia Post under which you may purchase and generate a Postage Label to offer to your customers to enable a Parcel which you have sent to be lodged in the domestic Australia Post network to be returned to you, for which full instructions, requirements and charges are specified on the MyPost Business Sending Portal Website, and which is subject to the Online Sending - Terms & Conditions.
7.10. Participating Post Offices means those Post offices from time to time from which you can purchase MyPost Products, that can verify your MyPost Business Account and apply MPB Savings. Check your local Post Office to determine whether it is participating in Send and Save.
7.11. Platform Integration Partner means those online stores, eCommerce platforms, shipping platforms and eCommerce marketplaces which are approved by Australia Post and which have integrated their services with the MPB Online Sending Portal.
7.12. Send and Save means the MyPost Business purchasing loyalty program governed by these Terms and Conditions.
7.13. Savings Bands mean the Savings Bands set out in the table in clause 2.1 as may be revised and updated from time to time under clause 5.2.
7.14. Signature on Delivery means the service offered by Australia Post under which Australia Post agrees to obtain a signature from the recipient of an article on delivery, and which is subject to the terms and conditions set out in the Australia Post Terms and Conditions Schedule 30 - Signature on Delivery Services (PDF 135kB).
7.15. Spend is the commonly accepted abbreviation of the word “expenditure”.
7.16. Spend Requirements means the spend requirements set out in the table in clause 2.1 as may be revised and updated from time to time under clause 5.2.
7.17. Zones mean the domestic or international zones as specified in clause 3.1 and 3.2 respectively, each of which is defined by a group of postcode areas or international sending zones (as the case may be), full details of which are provided in the MPB Rates and Savings Guide (PDF 698kB).
