Free 24/7 Parcel Lockers are a quick and convenient option for returning prepaid parcels. They’re free, secure and easy to use. Here’s how:
1. Ensure that you have a MyPost account
You’ll need a MyPost account to send a parcel using a Parcel Locker. You can register for your free MyPost account online.
2. Prepare your prepaid parcel
Ensure your parcel has a prepaid label. If you’re returning something, the retailer may supply a prepaid return label. Otherwise, you can purchase a prepaid label or satchel at a Post Office.
3. Drop it off
Head to any Parcel Locker location and follow the touch-screen prompts to return the item using your MyPost account.
4. Start tracking
When you close the door, we’ll email you with proof of posting. And we’ll know to come and collect your parcel from the locker.
Parcel Locker collection and delivery times:
We’ll collect your parcel from the locker before the end of the next business day.
This means you’ll need to add an extra business day to the estimated delivery time for your parcel. For this reason, the Express Post guarantee for next business day delivery will not apply for Express Post parcels sent using a Parcel Locker.
For urgent deliveries, we recommend posting your parcel by the lodgement cut-off time in a Street Posting Box or at your local Post Office.
